Harry Dreggors, age 88, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Harry was the very definition of a handyman—clever, resourceful, and always ready to fix, build, or create. Whether converting an empty ink barrel into a BBQ smoker, using a paper towel roll as an improvised sighting tool on his personal civil engineering projects, or mending something around the house or his beloved church, Harry approached every task with a can-do spirit and steady hands.
His sense of humor, knowledge and skills served him well throughout his career in industrial sales. His warm and welcoming demeanor invited clients and prospects alike into trusting relationships that translated into decades of success throughout Central and South Texas.
One of his greatest joys was time spent with his grandchildren. Summers were made special by hosting his grandchildren at home during Vacation Bible School…always full of laughter and faith. He was known for taking the little ones on imaginative train rides, playing conductor as he towed them behind his tractor in makeshift train cars.
Harry was an avid photographer, touching so many lives with his pictures of birds and other joys of nature, not to mention the many photographs he took of family and friends. He was known for his incredible sense of humor, dad jokes, and pranks.
Harry's Christian faith was the foundation of his life. A devoted and active member of his church, he gave countless hours in service to others. He faithfully shared his “verse of the day” and the church event calendar with his fellowship, offering encouragement and hope to those around him.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Judy, his children Jan (John Davis), Charlie, David (Ann), and Katherine (John McCullough); grandchildren Leslie, Ashley, Eric, Allison, Sam, Caroline, Jason, Scout, Elizabeth, and Molly; and great-grandchildren Owen, Maci, and Noah. He is also survived by his stepchildren Rex Whitten (Sandra) and their children Holly and Maggie, and Susan Fogarty (Mike) and their children Emma, Jessica, and Hannah, along with his beloved great-grandchild Walker.
A memorial service to celebrate Harry’s life will be held at Forest Hills Baptist Church – 8251 FM 1117, Seguin, TX 78155, on Saturday, April 26th at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church, or a charity that holds special meaning for you.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the clinicians, friends, and family who have shown their love and support during this time. Your kindness and prayers have brought comfort and peace.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
Harry’s life was a testimony to hard work, faith, and love. May he rest now in the presence of his Savior, with a heart full of joy and a spirit finally at peace.

We invite you to join our Sunday services, where we come together to worship and hear a message delivered by Pastor Stanford. The worship services start at 10:45 am. On the last Sunday of each month, we end the service by taking the Lord's Supper and finish with a fellowship meal. We look forward to seeing you there!
We have a variety of ministries that you can get involved with, including children's ministry, youth ministry, and adult groups. These ministries provide opportunities for fellowship, growth, and service.
There are many ways our members serve as an act of love and discipleship. No matter what your spiritual gifts are, there is a place to serve at Forest Hills Baptist Church.
Bob Stanford has served as a pastor Texas since 1981. His idea about serving as pastor is simple: Stay in the Word, love the people and help others know and serve Jesus. To that end he has spent considerable time in formal preparation, earning several degrees including a PhD. from the Southern Baptist Seminary. Pastor Stanford has stated that the greatest part of ministry is seeing people grow into Christlikeness through the ministry of the Word and Spirit.
Bob and Sue have been partners in life and ministry since their wedding day, August 1972 in Corpus Christi. Along the way Aaron and Stephen came along and eventually five super grandsons and the greatest daughter-in-love in Texas, Kym became part of the family.
Pastor Bob retired in 2018 and moved to Seguin to help his son, Stephen who was pastoring Forest Hills. When Stephen took a new church, Forest Hills asked Bob to become pastor. And the rest of the story is still being written…
Walt Graves has spent his working career as a structural and nuclear engineer, but when called to lead music, he willingly said yes. Each Sunday he chooses both traditional hymns and songs of the faith as well as modern day praise and worship choruses.
David has been given many gifts to be used to edify the saints, but if asked, he will tell you his heart his driven to be a servant. And, that is the best definition of a deacon. So, if there is something that needs done, David is generally right in the middle of taking care of it.
Linda has a heart for helping women grow and have fellowship as they walk the path of Christian life. She loves teaching and serving as she ministers to the women of Forest Hills Baptist Church.
